A Layout to share - our 3 years and more :D

This is a layout done at the start of this year
When we celebrated our 3 years of relationship
and more to come :)

To make this layout, I used the tip Shimelle gave
in the twopeas free class called 4x6 photo love
which teaches us how to scrap tons of 4x6 photos in one layout :)

I love it can contains 9 photos that we took in this day
where i have some
'not so nice, yet funny enough that i want to document and remember' photos
which i can tuck them into the pocket and not be seen unless someone go dig for it
of cos i know it exist :)
And i love it allows 3 photos to be seen,
which is enough to tell most part of the story
the who and where :)

Today I took part in one of Lain Ehmann's Scrapinar
It was awesome :)
I missed one last month but i remember this time ! Phew
She is so helpful and she answers alllllll our questions
and provides lots of useful links and tips related to the topic of discussion
You can find Lain at
and I would love to take up in her LOAD in coming may 2013 during my holidays
It's also a great experience where I know more scrappin ladies
I had fun and hope you ladies did too!

Thanks for stopping by and till next time:)

My first attempt on Artist Trading Card (ATC)

Awhile back
I joined this facebook group
where a group of scrapbookers and paper crafters
gather to make monthly ATCs for exchange.

The first theme was "friendship"
And here is my take on it :)

Firstly, I used kraft cardstock and trim the cards to size
and use a boarder punch to create the notebook edge

Then I use distress ink to ink the edges
This instantly gives the paper a vintage look

I use a scallop circle punch to punch out several circle
which i then cut into half

attach down

Then i cut the white cardstocks into the ATC size
and attach the kraft cardstocks after i tie a burlap twine around
it's my favourite way of adding just a little texture to every card :)

Using stazon ink and Amy Tangerine Stamp set
i stamped the words "Hello Friend"

Then I use my favourite butterfly punch
to punch several butterflies out
there are 2 size
i strongly recomend this punch :)
I usually punch a bunch from my scraps lying around my desk
and keep them in a zip lock bag

I stuck down the butterflies
using some glue dots that i roll up
so that the butterfly have a dimension

And I call this all done :)

Thanks for stopping by
Till next time !

Ashton's 21st Guest n scrapbook !

Hello :)
Firstly, I would like to wish Ashton happy 21st birthday

I have recently completed the biggest project
I have worked for my customer so far

A girlfriend came forward to me and wanted to order a guestbook for her boyfriend
also after much discussion, she picked and gathered about 70 photos for me to work on
I edited some of them to give the vintage look that suit the products i'm working with

It's a 21st birthday guestbook and scrapbook
and it's for a male!
It's an 8x8 ring binded album
Includes about 15 full 8x8 inches page
and some divided page protectors pages
I love how it turns out :)
Hope you like it too :)

Here is how the pages inside look like :)

I use alot of watches, clocks, keys and camera accents

Some pins
and lots of brown and blue

Tim holtz metal gear

Army boy , army page

Repetition is one of my most favourite techniques
added some car accents too

Used alot of Ali Edwards sentiments stamp
I feel that it is suitable for the theme of this album
21st birthday , and with gratitude to friends
family and this album is filled with lots of memories of his life

Love this page the most!
oh well, probably due to the butterflies
and Eiffel Tower?
I'm trying to bring out the kinship in these photos

lots of real life photos in this album

repetition again!
this time I added various sized photos

decorated the pages for guest to write on
using tim holtz stamps and acrylic paint
gave it some dimension and depth

love the effect of this page
the flowers are shiny :)

Love starbust :)
Give the page some omph ! LOL

That's all for now
thanks for stopping by :)

Till then :)
